Exporting Your Digital Content Metadata Using iSyndica

Did you know that iSyndica lets you export all your metadata - IPTC, EXIF, Quicktime Metadata, ID3 - into a flat file format such as CSV? After uploading your digital content into your catalog, you will be able to view the current metadata in the catalog view. If you wish, you can edit the keywords, titles and description of your content and even run a spellchecker (coming soon) before saving it.

Note: For most file formats, we save the metadata back into your files (image, vector). We are currently working to make this compatible with video and audio formats.

With your files visible in the catalog view, select the content whose metadata you want to export. You can select by labels, using “All”, or by checking individual boxes.

Hit the Export Metadata button located near the Delete button and click on it.

You have the option of selecting your text format (Comma, Pipe or Colon separated), the filename and the fields you’d like to export.
