11 Amazing Little Planets
This post is written by Laurent Dambies, a microstock photographer and regular contributor on iSyndica.com
This week, we will explore 11 newly identified planets, also called planetoids, created from manipulating panoramic images. Most of them are made with special equipment and software but it is also possible to make a planet by using a series of handheld pictures.
So if you would like to give it a try, you can follow this tutorial to make your first planet in few clicks. If you are up to more advanced manipulations, you can have a look at this one. Happy Terra Forming!

great job..
how do you make these?
I suppose these are made with a low focal length circular fisheye, and probably edited so the background isn't black.
Am I right?
@mkp and @Bergsphoto the two tutorials put in links cover the basics but you do not need a fisheye to do these pictures. I did the last one with a powershot G9 from a 360 degrees panoramic image.
Really neat stuff! I made one myself!
